Tree Pendant w/Hammered Frame
This sterling silver pendant features a tree hand cut into silver, then welded onto a backing with the extended backing rolled over and hammered over the hand cut layer. Thus, giving it 3 layers and making it robust. It measures 27mm wide, 44mm tall excluding the bail and bail loop, (59mm with). It has been given a patina that is partially polished off to give it beautiful contrast.
This was a bit of a challenge to photograph and take a video of as the reflection gave me problems, thus I had to shield it from the light which may make it appear dull, which it is not.
Chains as seen (sterling silver, 2mm rolo) are available for an additional $25.
